Offrisk has worked with six of Scotland’s eight Fire and Rescue Services to develop robust and highly-usable plans in the event of a disruption to normal operations, however caused.

Offrisk has developed a plan format that dovetails effectively with Standard Operating Procedures and Major Incident Plans but also delivers effective recovery strategies and a level of detail that gives Group and Area Managers a high degree of confidence.

As Category One Responders under the Civil Contingencies Act (2004), the UK’s Fire and Rescue Services have a responsibility to the public and an array of other stakeholders.   Severe disruption to services can be experienced following loss of key equipment, premises, vehicles or personnel.

Scotland’s Fire and Rescue Services have called upon Offrisk to provide Service Continuity Management, Plan Exercising, Risk Governance and Training services.
